If you are a fan of the magazine, Mary Jane’s Farm, you will want to know that Historic Valentown has started a Farmgirl Chapter to celebrate and express our rural heritage in Western New York. Join the Valentown Farmgirl Circle. Get on your boots and find your rural roots! You’re invited to set your talents down on our front porch and stay a while. We have lots of room for fun and maybe a little work for a good cause. All farmgirls are welcome. We have 13 acres of land and two buildings that we want to share filled with the echoes of simple farm life. We are the real deal, a little rough around the edges but we want to spread the word about the good hometown businesses and community that were once so much a part of country life. Our museum is interested in promoting healthy foods and recipes, past and present, arts and crafts, heirloom plantings and natural landscaping, including wildlife habitat. We want to let others have fun while learning about the past and maybe take a little of it home with them for later.
Valentown Museum is a intriguing historical museum located in Victor, NY. It contains thousands of artifacts, objects & heirlooms that represent the local 19th century history of the Victor & Rochester, NY area. We believe that historic Valentown Square serves the people & enhances the quality of life in Western New York through education and historic preservation.
Stories From The Front Porch. We want to hear your story. Did you grow up in Victor, NY? Do you remember Victor before 490 came through? Tell us about the Pharmacy on Main Street or even Main Street Victor, NY before the fire. We are interested in collecting a history of the Victor that you remember.
VALENTINE COLLECTIBLE PLATES Historic Valentown is offering a selection of beautiful limited edition garden plates. These collectible plates were donated by Ellie Valentine and were her mother's. They are beautiful roses and 3D flowers, many with hummingbirds.
