 NEWLY Opened - Miss Lillian's Tea Room - now located in the Ichabod Towne Homestead on the Valentown Museum Grounds as a part of our expanded Heritage programs.
 Join "Grandma Hattie" for a Luncheon, Afternoon or Specialty Tea Party!  By reservation only

 April 19thSept. 13th Ghost City of Valentown Ghost Hunts & Ghost Walks most Friday & Saturday nights
9 pm -3 am. Pre -registration required.  May 10th - Valentown Museum Grand Re-opening,  Noon to 4pm, Museum Tours, Tea sampling and refreshments in Miss Lillian’s Tea Room at the Ichabod Towne Homestead. Come in your best Victorian garb, enjoy a cup of tea and refreshments presented by Grandma Hattie. Be sure to enter our Best Hat contest in adult or children’s categories Free Parking.  May-early Sept. - Memorial Day through Labor Day -  Heritage Craft Demonstrations  each Saturday during the summer.  These will be on topics like weaving, blacksmithing, shoe making, barrel making, and woodworking. etc.  Demonstrations will last about an hour and in most cases there will be a chance for audience members to participate in the craft in some way. These demonstrations will show visitors how the craft was done in the 19th century and act as a general introduction to the modern craft.   There will be time afterwards to ask lots of questions.  These demonstrations are ideal activities for families.  There’s no age limit for attendance. Free Parking  (585) 924-4170.

 Valentown Teen Society-VTS -Valentown's Youth Group-meeting throughout the year -second Thursday of the month at Valentown Museum- For children ages 11-17 yrs. interested in history and preserving the past, community involvement and fun social activities.
Programs will include museum tours, guest speakers, field trips to local historic sites, hands-on projects, research projects and fundraising events such as dances to benefit Historic Valentown Museum.

  Sept 26-Oct. 31st The Seventh Annual Valentown Spooktacular, Valentown Museum, High St. off Route 96 in Victor across from Eastview Mall,  4 BIG floors of  Haunted Scares for the price of one. 2 entrances for shorter lines. Be prepared to be scared stiff. Not sure if you or your kids are brave enough?
